I realized that the slight change in brake feel when I changed my front brake pads on my 9-3 might be due to the way the spring clip is on the caliper based on this thread. I looked at the clips and, sure enough, they are not on the way they should be according to the diagram. I pulled a 9-3 diagram that came with the Saab pads and noticed the same thing. No problem, I thought, and proceeded to pull off the wheel and the clip. However, I have yet to get the clip to align correctly. Being at the end of a long tiring day probably doesn't help my thought processes on this one either. I've done the brakes on my Acuras, Honda and Fords, but this spring clip is proving more frustrating than it ought. Any advice?
