Sorry to hear your luck. My headgasket blew two weeks ago. The head had to be resurfaced to the tune of $150, but I guess it depends on each individual case? I *think* that once the headgasket has blown, repair is the only option. You may only retorque before things get out of control. Maybe someone will correct me on that.

We should organize a group buy of headgasket repairs on the bulletin board. They'd give us a big discount for doing 800 at once :D
