I went through this with my '95 900S about 1 1/2 years ago. I believe I bought my replacement mast from the same company so you should have the correct part. This url is very helpful with what you are dealing with:

My antenna 'tail' had of course broken off inside the housing. Also, the metal sleeve was somewhat frozen inside the black antenna mounting bracket. It took a few shots of wd40 to loosen up in order to remove the sleeve.
Now I have a 2003 9-3 Arc with no antenna mast. ;^)
