I have tried a couple of times to get the seal off the bearing and I can't promise that it doesn't get damaged in the process and so forth not be able to warranty my work.
In an emergency situation or if someone want to do it themself I guess it doesn't matter if it fails shortly after or not.
It is very difficult to get a pick tool inside and pry the cover off without damaging the lip.
