quite a bit. i installed one a few weeks ago and i believe there is less of the effect you describe. however, i do still experience a fair amount of this effect on rutted (from trucks mostly) streets. it's amazing, even at almost a standstill, the wheels want to pull--sometimes violently--to one side or the other. i've never experienced anything like this on any other car and have to say it's perhaps my least favorite characteristic of this vehicle.

it's dangerous as sometimes i'll be fiddling with something like my "handsfree" phone earpeice as it invariably tangles in the handbrake/gearshift or seatbelt (anyone else experience this god-awful syndrome????!!! By law i have to use this "safety device" but the tangling and futzing is WAY, I mean WAAAAYYY more dangerous and distracting than just putting the phone to my face.!! actually, i think this tangling is my least favorite thing about this car's design.... but let's not blame saab for this one.) anyway, sometimes i'll drive with my knee "steering" briefly and really have to watch what the road condition is like.

in any event, i think the steering is so much improved in every other way that the mp rack /brace is WELL worth the money and short amount of time to install.

just my .02 sorry for the rant/ramble
