Oil pickup screen rod bearings, and a Thankyou...

Cleaning the oil pan and oil screen and inspecting the main and rod bearings was the final step on my 100k mile maintenance list (1996 900SE Turbo, now at 107k, owned since new).
Pics show the condition of the oil screen and one of the rod bearing shells. To avoid wasting even more bandwidth, see link to larger pics and more detail below.
My ***THANKS*** to those kind enough to post DIY instructions, offer advice, encouragement and comments along the way, especially Anders/Swedecar for helping to make sense out of all the timing and balance chain issues.
Over a period of six months, the list has included the following:
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Valve cover and cam-end plug leaks (vc gasket replaced, plug leak fixed)
Filler tube seal leak (fixed)
Radiator fan (replaced with used)
Thermostat and temp gauge sensor (replaced, stat for 2nd time)
Radiator flushed, filled, cooling system pressure tested
Vacuum hoses and PCV valve (all replaced, some for second time)
Throttle body and cable linkage (cleaned but still not 100%)
Fuel pump (motor failed/replaced)
Idler pulleys and belt (replaced, upper idler for the third time)
Alternator (replaced)
Power steering leaks (leaking less, but still leaking)
Intercooler hoses (clamps tightened, hoses drying out and cracking)
Manual transmission (flushed and refilled, shifting MUCH better)
Clutch cable (ends lubed, and still in one piece at 107k)
Shift linkage and bushings (postponed)
SID ribbon connector fix (not successful)
Cruise control pedal switch (fixed, thanks to Anders/Swedecar)
A/C recharged, tested
Brake fluid flushed and replaced
Rear brakes, calipers and corroded handbrake parts(75% fixed, thanks to a couple pieces of *really* good advice posted by Dean, but still need a complete rebuild due to too much road salt)
Fuel tank straps (almost rusted away/replaced)
Suspension inspection (one balljoint boot replaced)
Wheel alignment (postponed)
Bent rims (replaced with new/used set)
Used Oil Analysis by Blackstone Labs
Compression and oil pressure tests
Timing chain tensioner and chain inspection
... and finally the oilpan, oil screen, and bearing inspection (done!)
At this point, posting pics mainly for anyone's reference and entertainment. Pics reduced and compressed to waste less bandwidth. Link to more detail on the plugged oil screen and rod bearing wear below.
