Manual transmission oil change - Stay with Redline or ? Posted by Todd [Email] (#958) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Todd) on Mon, 5 Apr 2004 13:00:37 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
My 1999 9-3 SE with now close to 89,000 miles is in need of some new transmission oil. Some years back, I had the dealer replace the stock fluid with Redline manual transmission oil (I don't recall which one at this time). My question is should I continue to use the Redline product, which should mean that I don't have to flush it, or should I bite the bullet and flush and replace with MTF0063?
BTW, how hard is it to change the fluid in a 9-3? Can't be that hard, right?
