the V-8 used in the Triumph Stag was a Triumph design 3.0 L SOHC
the Buick-Oldmobile aluminum V8 (originally 215 CID) was a pushrod -- Olds even made a turbo version
tooling and design was sold to Rover (who finally fixed the casting problems that caused the sleeves to shift)
Brabham (REPCO) used the engine block for a OHC design that won the F-1 title in '66 & '67
Besides Rover -- the engine (in pushrod form) has been used by MG, TVR, Morgan, and i think some later Triumph models..
