Changing plugs is really easy actually. It's a little easier when the engine is cold from a comfort standpoint, but all you have to do is put the socket over them and take them out. I believe the suggested torque is somewhere around 20 ft-lbs (search this board to find torque specs as well as plug specs). Gap the plugs to somewhere around 0.035" (jury is still out on the 0.037-0.035 debate however).
Entire plug replacement should take you around 15-20 minutes (timed myself, including amount of time to find proper wrench attachments, to discuss the weather with my nosy neighbour, and to gap all 4 plugs properly).
