I'll pipe in to concur; my 1999 base 9-3 does "right to the end of the yellow in 3d, 4th, and 5th, about 2/3 through yellow in second". Maybe down a little because weather but not if I give it more gas.

Could it be that they disconnected the battery which cleared it..you now need
some time (and hard driving) for it to "learn/adapt" to your style? Several
posted a way to get it retrained...something like wide open throttle in 4th
for a certain length of road. Others say x number of shifts? Let us know.
