Have you looked at the two Saab floormat alternates?

There's an "all weather" mat set -- fabric like a cross between rugged indoor-outdoor carpet and a doormat, rubber/vinyl backing, vinyl section for driver's feet, "Saab" embroidered. I got these instantly after buying a black 00 9-3 with beige interior this summer. The mats brush/wash out nicely and unless it's really messy where you live, they might be a better choice than rubber mats.

Went for the black/gray color, which I think is a nice contast to the beige upholstery and a more practical color. Complements the grey dash and console.

Living in Upstate NY I wound up also buying the Saab rubber mats. While the all-weather can soak up a lot, I figured the road salt would eventually fry even heavy-duty fabric; otherwise I might've stuck with the all-season mats. Considered the WeatherTech offering, but figured I'd get OEM and be assured of fit, including use of the little peg holes. Again, chose gray over beige.

You can buy direct from Saab (http://www.saabcatalog.com), or for less from other online sources like Taliaferro (http://www.genuinesaab.com). I've also seen both types of mats in the TSN classifieds and on eBay.

Hope this help.
