When removing the dash plate there are two clips on the outside of the air vents. I had the glove box and lower portion of the dash out at the time, so I found it convient to be able to reach in and push in the areas of the clips. It also make pushing the headlight and fog light connectors out easy.
Remove the stereo before the computer display. This makes it easy to push the computer out from the back. The brackets for the computer display and stereo will need to come out to gain access to the screws. You will need a small flathead screw driver to pull the brackets up and over the latches.
I also had a dash vent come apart as I was putting the dash back in. It's not fun putting it back together and don't recommend it for anyone.
Strongly suggest disconnecting the battery before beginning. This is a necessary if the steering wheel is removed.
