The sensor in the cap in the reservoir is overly sensitive, I think the placement is too high. Check the pads, the wear will cause the fluid level to go down. If they look OK just top it off. If they are worn replace them, but watch the fluid level, b/c when you push the pistons back to fit the new pads, the fluid will go back up into the reservoir and may overflow, depending on how worn the pads were and how high the fluid level was.
