I don't think there is a straight answer for your question. First, define "hard driving". Your definition and mine may differ greatly. Now, if you race the car in every gear, smoke the tires every chance you get, come to a screeching stop at the end of the street every day on your way to work, you'll have a great time with the Viggen but, the "wear and tear" items will need replacing more often; tires, brakes,clutch ect. You'll also most likely be on a first name basis with your local Police Dept. before long, nevermind the increased chances of "incidents", also known as collisions.
Now, if you drive "within reason", the car can take it. A little extra throttle while getting on the highway, enjoying a spirited drive along a back road, zooming along on the highway every once in a while, ect. That's why people drive SAABS, Viggens.
