have you ever done a track day?
If it's your FIRST school then upgrading the brakes isn't needed, you have LOTS to learn before you are at the limit of the brakes!!!!
It also greatly depends on the track itself, some are harder then others on brakes. I have attended a local track (Putnam PArk) for 4-5+ yrs now twice a year & my viggen's brakes are totally fine. I do use better Hawk pads & change the fluid prior to every event but never had any issues & I feel I am able to push my viggen pretty hard at the schools. Last time there a STi & 911 (993) were 2 cars which I was playing with.
LAst summer I went to Baaver Run & I did have brake issues there. They faded a little bit but not enough to worry me, it was usually at the end of the sessions.
If this is your first EVER school I would get some good pads (I have had great luck with Hawk pads) & change your fluid. I tried the carbon pads from group9 a few years back on my SPG & they were horrible!!! Totally gone in 120 miles!
Some MUCH more important mods which these cars desperatly need are
1) VRK - be it from MP Perf, Genuine saab or who-ever you choose
2) rear sway bar, greatly improves traction coming out of turns
3) tires!!!!!!
