Saab buyback notification mail

Hello,
I got a buyback notification for 1999 9_3's from Perillo Saab in Chicago in the mail today. I have gone there before to get some parts replaced and I guess thats how they have my info. The gist of the mail is they need to acquire 1999 9_3's urgently to fulfill special used vehicle requests. They want me to trade in my car (if I want) for a newer or new Saab. They mentioned they would provide "top dollar" for a trade in and also give a 3.9% APR financing.
I am guessing Saab (or GM) is aggressively marketing the 2005 line so as to encourage repeat buyers.
I love my 9_3, but it has been giving me probltems lately. I have already put in $3K last few months. It runs really well now. Except I need o replace my heater box shortly as its really hard to turn the knobs and I have already replaced the linkage between the knobs and the drum. I have 83K miles on my car now.
I want some information about the new 9_3's. Has saab worked a solution to its recurring problems in the car? I have replaced a DI cassette, compressor, engine mounts and several other components in its life. i guess the newer saabs have ACC which eliminates one problem with the Manual heater. How does one compare the 9_3 to its close competitors like the G35 or the A4. I was waiting for the A3 to be released as it looks quite similar to the old 9_3's. What are the common problems faced in tghe new 9_3's?
Whew, that was longer than i intended it to be. Looking forward to hear your views.
