Original thread from Saturday, 6/11, below.
Short story - pushed the car into the garage yesterday pm. Earlier today I switched IGN ON to check headlights, &c. Then got a 13mm on the starter solenoid cable bolt to check it. It wasn't loose, but I did torque it back and forth one time, and snugged it up maybe an additional 30 degrees, so just a wee bit tighter. Car cranked (started after I plugged the DIC back in)! Whether it was because of anything I did or not I don't know. Indie suggests driving around till she's hot, come home and park, then try to re-fire after 15 minutes. This is one indication that the CrankPosSensor is failing. 51k+, after all the driving the first half of this year, over 12k since Christmas!
Haven't driven it yet though, trying to get the steering pump back in the kids 900, it fell off the swing bracket, the 3 8mm bolts all gone! I had nothing to do with that, just got it a year ago. I've got the locktight for the replacements, though!
THX Jim Blake for the feedback, and everybody else as well. I'll post any new details as they emerge.
