I am getting 17x8 wheels very soon and i need new tires as well. I think the offset is around 36. I dont want to end up bending my wheels yet again so i want more of a sidewall. 235/45/17's are only a tenth of an inch or two bigger in diameter than 225/40/18 which is the common tire to put on 18's on a 9-3. Anyone try 235/45/17? Anyone have rubbing with 225/40/18?
