hi
just bought a 2000 SE LPT with 126000miles as my upgraded 1994 9000cse has started costing too much in repairs each month (miss that car already)
the 9-3 is very nice accelerates as the 9000 did when it was working well
a lot smaller interior (in the back anyway), boot seems deeper, audio is terrible, air con that works, rear seats not covered in baby vomit and biscuit crumbs (nice) seems to have more torque, though the gear ratios seem a lot different, a keep trying to put the keys in next to the steering wheel, front suspension seems very taut and firm even compared to the 9000 with bilstein B6's on
handling though, its a bit wobbly and leans from the back at speed
my 9000 had poly rear ARB bushes and poly wishbone bushes and that would not lean when cornering no matter what speed
quite twitchy at speed any slight movement at the steering causes me to veer off in that direction
heavy acceleration and the rear dips down a lot
basically what is the first thing to upgrade, what with have the largest effect on the handling probs mentioned
1)rear anti roll bar replaced with 22mm bar
2)steering rack clamp / brace (no one sells the MP performance one in the UK, don't fancy abbott's prices)
3)front suspension poly bushes
cheers in advance
