Steering wheel vibration (due to front brakes)

Not long ago I did all the brakes using new Brembo rotors and PBR Deluxe pads. As feared and commonly reported, after a while the steering wheel/front end vibration started. It occurs at high speed only (above 100 Km/h) and especially while breaking heavily. The situation seems to get worse as the temperature increases while the braking is repetitive. All along I have been careful not stop the car and hold the brakes on after heavy breaking to prevent transfer of material from the pad to the rotor surface. It still occured I believe, in fact I have managed to reduce the vibration by "cleaning" the rotors by repetitive breaking at slower speeds. The the edge of the pads has a burr as if the pads material broke down. I have come to the conclusion that the PBR Deluxe pads cannot sustain high temperature without fouling the rotor surface. I would like to replace the PBR Deluxe with another brand without sacrifying to much of PBR's low dust/noise/price attibutes in favor of a much higher temperature performance. Any brand/model to raccomend?
Did anybody had gone thrue the same problem successfully?
Cheers
Giovanni
