I was getting an intermittent MIL light.

I suspected upcoming DIC failure, but figured I'd see if new plugs cure it. I swapped in new NGK 6s and everything has been fine for a couple of days.

The platinum NGK 7's looked black with white tops, and the gap was over 35, but not 41. on all of them.

The DIC was a little loose, but since I had already bought the plugs I put them in. I didn't have any blue locktight, but I have to get under the hood again in 2k for my oil change, I can retighten if they need it on the DIC

BTW, the valvecover was loose, so I tightend that back up. I haven't bought the new head bolts yet. but I'm planning a big maint. day where I can do the retorque, and put MTL in the transaxle, new bk fluid and coolent.

Thanks for all the info here, this board is very helpful.

I'm thinking of trying that auto rx stuff to remove any buildup, but haven't committed yet.
