Aren't spark plugs recommended to be changed every 30,000 in the owner's manual? I think I've heard Dean recommend changing every 10k.
Personally, I'd pull them and regap every 10k, and change them every 30k. They should be .035-.039 when you put them in. The gap will grow from there.
Use NGK BCPR6ES or BCPR7ES, or if you want to spend more money and not have to service them as often, the platinum equivalent. The platinum plug will not give you any added performance. Any other brand, or any other plug from NGK, will possibly damage the electronics in your knock-detection system.
The 6 series plugs are better for short drives if your engine often doesn't hit operating temperature. The 7 plugs are better if you work your engine hard, for example towing or if you have a modified ECU or otherwise increased power output. If neither situation applies to you, either plug is probably fine.
