So not let silicone spray get near the insides of the O2 sensors or MAF!

Brake cleaner may not be 'plastics safe' when used on the MAF. Folks have destroyed MAFs with harsh cleaners or cleaners with lubricaion or silicone residue... but not that I have seen posted here. Maybe this has has happened on the C900 BB. I always stress the need to use a cleaner that is labeled 'plastics safe', hoping to avoid someone using the wrong stuff. My greatest fear would be the use of carb or TB cleaner sprays.

This info about K&N oil wrecking MAFs is probably best catagorized as an urban myth. Was this a new filter or something that you re-oiled. It would be possible to over oil one of course. Certainly your problems are not common. If there was such a problem, why do we not see more issues of this nature? There is a lot of voodoo about oiled cotton filters. So don't over react.

WIS: P1133 is low (very low) O2 sensor voltage, suggesting a connectivity fault. P0131 is also low voltage, but is a condition where the 2nd O2 sensor is seen to exceed 0.7V. So this means that the two sensors are providing conflicting readings. (Misfiring can also sometimes be reported). The 2nd sensor can be used for AF control as a failure mode backup. A good reading at the 2nd sensor suggests that the MAF is working. Niether code actually suggests a MAF problem.

Did you get code interpretation from a non Saab source or code reader?

The solvents that you used on the MAF may have created the problem. If so maybe the problem will go away as the solvent outgasses from the MAF. The hot element in the MAF that measures air flow may burn off contamination over time. A harsh solvent might be residue free, but could cause physical damage to plastics or might cause components of the plastic parts to bleed and deposit on the sensor.

This is a totally wild guess, but is there any way that the MAF and O2 sensor connections could be reversed? I am not familiar with the connector details.

"I also pulled apart and cleaned every connector I could see between the MAF and the TB." You used silicone on the intake air ducting? The pressurized joints should never have any lub except a dilute soap solution if some assembly lubrication is needed. Otherwise the joints can blow off. Friction holds these on and the clamps only server to help develop that friction. Mating surfaces should be cleaned to remove grease or oil before assembly. Silicone is known to kill O2 sensors. So getting this into the intake system could have negative results. Silicone near the outside of the O2 sensors is also a bad idea. Was the silicone in a water base or hydrocarbon? There are water based silone emulsion sprays.

So two potential problems, MAF solvent damage or the front O2 sensor which could be conectivity or maybe silcone piosoning. But codes do not suggest MAF problems.

That is the best that I can do with the info at hand, sorry if its not good news.
