installed a dawes mbc in my 99 9-3 (auto) this weekend and i am pleased with how well it works, the faster turbo spoolup alone is worth it not to mention the increased boost questions i have are:

anyone else wish the outlet of the dawes had a barb on it to provide a more secure connection? the hoses ID is quite a bit larger than the fitting, i have a cable tie cranked on the wastegate hose but it managed to pop off once , has anyone thought of a simple way to increase the OD of the dawes( or perhaps used a stepdown fitting bteween the wastegate hose and the dawes outlet.

i am getting more boost with my current setting perhaps 1/4 into the red without a fuel cut , at full boost i can hear a high pitched wheeze( for lack of a better term sounds like a long high pitched fart) anyone know what this might be and is it of concern?

a third question < is there a reliable correlation between the turbo gauge and the boost psi( for example 1/2 into the red equals 15 psi)
