I wanted to but wasn't sure if I was going to lower my Viggen and wasn't sure about clearance. I have 17x8 rims with 235/40 17's on there now and plenty of clearance.
I'm seriously considering going to 245's - based on the good clearance. I just don't know how that will affect the tramlining, but I could always use the extra rubber at the track.
It depends on what your going for - better tires will help a small amount of the handling issues, but you should get a steering rack clamp at the very least.
