New Bilstein issues

I installed Bilstein HD's with KYB mounts on my '97 900S w/ 90k the other day and considering that I could move the old front struts with little effort by hand the new ride is so much better it is fantastic.
Question: I am getting body noise (like impacts but not loose sounding) from the passenger front usually when only passeneger wheel is over bumps and not when the two wheels are working together (like a rail road track). The noise does not sound like anything is loose (I took it apart and back together again to make sure, and I know what a loose strut sounds like from another car that I used to have) it just sounds like alot of the impact noise is being transferred to the body where it is louder then the driver side in a similar situation. Has anyone experienced a similar thing, where the passenger side hits louder then the drivers?
A few side notes, I just replaced all three mounts within a week of each other, so I don't think they are to blaim, and the only difference between the drivers and passenger side is that I removed the A-arm for the passenger side strut and not the drivers. I also don't see what the fuss is about the lower ball joint, I live in Maine were we bathe in salt during winter and all it took to remove the lower ball was to undo the nut and then wack the hub mount (not the ball joint) with a hammer to get it unseated.
