Timing belt on a V6...easy, short question

I have followed the diagram for setting the idler pulleys (the general direction at basic setup) and everything is timed beautifully, but I am concerned that the stretch of belt between the bottom idler and the #4 cam seems EXTREMELY tight to me....is this normal and is there a rule for tensioning the bottom idler (other than general lobe direction). Is too tight possible?
Thx
