Having had two c900T's and had good reliability from the turbo's, anyway to check the turbo when used car shopping? Mine never blew-out the seals and smoked or used oil, they just froze-up after 150K miles and now-again at 325k miles. With an automatic, I never "screamed" my Saab and rarely used more than half-throttle accelerating or went over 4000rpm; always had plenty of power from the turbo. And the oil was changed regularily (always turbo-rated) and dosed with Marvel Mystery Oil and Lucas Oil Conditioner; the oil filter would get changed about every three or four oil changes.
Since most used Saab's are over 100k miles, I'd like to avoid replacing the turbo the first year of ownership.
