I'm adjusting a SMBC on my 01 9-3 manual, and I've opened the valve quite a bit, about 1 1/2 turns from factory setting in three increments.
I am gauging by feeling 2nd gear boost higher and higher, but haven't got a CEL. But I'm confused on what my final setting should be.
Should I note any difference in 3rd and 4th gear boosts?
I "think" i may have had a fuel cutoff for a millisecond when flooring it in 2nd or 3rd and the boost was bordering red. Is this plausible? Should I back off the setting?
Or should I simply keep turning the valve open until I get a CEL, and then back off a little?
Thanks for your help!
