I recently replaced the throttle body due to harsh idling and start up problems (lots more to list but anyways lol) ..After declaring that my car was all set and ran great my mechanic also noted that
he thought he heard air rushing out on throttle indicating a leak in the intake ssytem...used the smoke machine...nothing came up...any idea what it could be...and no, its not the SUCKING of the air due to the open air intake nor the turbo whine...doesnt sound like that...

he checked for a leak because of the car not boosting further then half (actually not even half) im usually at border of red on WOT...


any clue??? BPV??? im not sure, but i dont recal any "honking" of the valve like it went...does it always have to make noises? lol. would the smoke machine always pick up a faulty BPV...

My biggest concern is the sound the car makes under accell....its like an open intake air, but not sucking in,.possibly going out?? not sure...I checked all lines and all that jazz...came up with nothing...
