in revs order...
it puffs plenty of bluewhite oil smoke out the tailpipe, on days it decides to smoke.
I have considered the Auto-Rx but never done it instead I have used like a toluene solvent like Berrymans in the oil at change with good results I think. oil light works at "on" before "start". I've used Chevron and Valvoline oils, went to 20W50 last year, before that 10W30 or 10W40. I thought maybe the 50wt oil would stay together better. I'm pretty careful with the drain plug. I use a new crush washer and permatex on it every time. I have not done a compression test bec on the v6 it's a pain on the back 3. I know I have weak rings on at least 1 cyllinder. Are you saying that this will kill the oil? maybe burning gasoline makes it into the crankcase? perhaps I need to go on a 2800 - 3000 mile change cycle. I currently run at a 18000 miles / year pace.
cheers,
