I would like to pull my radio to install my Parrot ck3000 and an FM modulator for my iPod. If I understand things correctly, earlier versions of these cars required a code for "reactivation" of the radio once it had been disconnected from power, but more recent cars (including mine, I think) do not need a code. Is this correct? Does the fact that the radio and the car are "married" matter?
I ask all of this because I do not have the radio code for my newly-acquired 9-3, and I want to know what I am getting in to before I star taking pulling things.
thanks in advance,
SM
