front strut noise after Bilstine replacement

I have replaced my shocks and struts with Bilstine HD's and did the new thrust bearings. I tightened everything down to the specs and had the car alligned. Everything feels great eccept when I am driving slow and over and few small bumps I can hear some "clunking" comming from the front. I have rechecked everything and cant find anything loose. I was thinking it was the bushings or the bearings going bad in some part of the suspension. Well I am out of ideas so if anybody has anything to it would really help.
thanks Josh
