After it couldn't start did you lift the hood and smell? When the DI goes you will smell an extremely foul plastic smell. If you didn't lift the hood, there is another way to check DI besides swapping one w/ another red DI. First take DI out, just unscrew bolts and undo the clip of the left side. Lift out the DI evenly and set on a work bench, flat side down. You will see more screws on the underside of the DI. Take those off and open the DI up. You will see that there is a long plastic strip that is sealed so no one can mess w/ the interworkings of the DI. Search this plastic strip for a small chunk that is raised above the rest of the flush, flat, smooth, surface. If you find one it means something fried in the DI, like a transistor. You can probably still notice that great plastic smell in that fried area. Hope this helps. \
