All '95 and up SE's had keyless entry. Yes, the dealer is the way to go for reprogramming, unless your indie shop has a Saab TechII device. Before taking it in though, go to Radio Shack and buy a new battery for your remote. Once the new batt. is in, stand near, or sit in the car and hold it (fob light blinking) for ~5-10 seconds. It should then work to lock/unlock the doors, etc. If not then you'll have to see the dealer. Do yourself a favor and buy another one though (eBay, etc.,) as a locked car + a lost remote = $1000 charge.
