All 9-3s and NG900s use the same rear shocks. There were different stiffnesses depending on whether it was a coupe, 5-door, convertible, etc., but they're all interchangeable. I'm sure that shocks from a 2001 9-3 SE will be nearly identical to the ones on a 1999 9-3 SE, unless they made some minor improvements.
