I replaced my original battery in my 99 Viggen today. It lasted 53k miles. After doing some research I went with a Duralast from Autozone. Cheaper than the Interstate, and Diehard but had the same warranty and more cranking amps. My question is pretty obvious to me, but it's ok that the original heat shield/cover doesn't fit right? I've seen other Viggens with new battery's and they didn't have the heat shield either.
