Loud road noise after tire rotation & alignment? Posted by Todd [Email] (#958) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Todd) on Mon, 3 Oct 2005 10:11:32 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Hi all. I just had the following work performed at the Saab dealer and now I am getting a ton of road/tire noise from the front end!
-Front end alignment (was pulling to the right)
-Front tires (which are quite worn, due to the pulling) rotated to the rear
-Rear tires (which didn't have much wear) moved up front
-New brake pads (front and rear)
-New rotors up front.
Any ideas? At first I assumed it was tire noise, but now I'm not sure. The sounds increase with speed and tends gradually oscillate back a forth once at a steady cruising speed (if that makes sense!) The sound is loud even on smooth pavement, making me wonder if it's a wheel bearing, though I don't know why it would come on all the sudden.
Thanks in advance!
Todd
