it will soften the ride - also wider tires on the same rim allows slightly more slop when the sidewalls are rolled in a corner (something not mentioned) - also tread width on 215 is a lot closer to tread width on 225 than on a 205, so shouldn't cause a clearance issue at all (check the #'s posted by tire manuf - tread width more important as edge of tire most likely to contact wheel well than center width) Will probably also have a minor effect of making it harder to curb your rims with the wider rubber (depends on if those are 7 inch or 7.5 inch wide rims, I can't find that info)
