Did you use proper spark plugs? Bosch FR8LDC
Also, when you changed the first set of plugs and wires, was number 5 wire burned at that time too?
Your car does not have an ignition distributor but what you see is the ignition coil package. The coils are fired off by signals from the Motronic fuel computer.
It is only three coils in there and they serve two cylinder at the time.
So the same coil is firing number 2 and 5 plug at the same time. Since it is only number 5 not firing, I assume it must be something with the plug wire, plug or inside the combustion chamber.
Have you done a compression test of that cylinder?
Maybe number 5 cylinder is dead due to a burned valve or piston.
