Well, you've definitely got a glass half full/glass half empty situation on your hands.

In your favor, you've got a bunch of new things (turbo, battery, AC) already done to the car that should carry you at least another 25K or so.

Then again, that may just be the tip of the iceberg and who knows what could go just days after your CPO status expire?

My experience in this realm comes not with Saab but with my beloved 2000 VW New Beetle 1.8 Turbo. She still had about eight months left on her extended warrranty from when I bought her new in 2000. Yet, a bunch of little things had started an avalanche toward me thinking that something big was about to go sometime soon but not soon enough. I ended up trading her for a CPO Diesel that I never really, really loved as much as my Turbo. In retrospect, I should have kept the first Beetle and traded her directly for a Saab when the time was right to avoid a bunch of financial gymnastics and other complications.

Bottom line....trade the car when you're no longer happy with it on a daily basis and have found another car that you will be happy in and can afford.
