Hey guys,

I had my original thermostat on my '99 9-3 die. Car would be slow to warm up, and temp would drop on highway when it was cold. Had it replaced, still no good, car was still very slow to warm up and didn't always reach operating temp. Just had a 2nd thermostat put in. Car seems ok now. Just want to double check....today was about 39 degrees F, and it took about 7-8 minutes to reach normal operating temp, with the guage perfectly horizontal....is this pretty normal? I had never paid attention to how quick it used to warm up.....it seems ok to me now, I just wanted to double check. Thanks!
