Hello,

My 2002 9-3 (of which I am the second owner) comes off of its warranty in March. Does anyone have experience with asking a dealer to CPO a vehicle? It's clean and mechanically sound, recent tires and everything... I'm looking to increase the car's value (were I to sell it) and to have the piece of mind of knowing that it's still under warranty. I've seen posts on the board about having off-lease vehicles CPO'd before lease buyout, but I haven't seen anything about someone walking into the dealer "buying" the CPO warranty on a car they already own. I saw on the 9-5 board that the CPO is about an $1100 cost to the dealer, which seems very reasonable considering all of the expensive parts covered.

Any thoughts on the feasibility of doing this? Thanks very much.
