The unit fires the spark plug a bunch right after shutting off, for a cleaning cycle. You don't want to have your fingers in there for the first minute or 2.
There's 4 torx screws on top, then the unit just pulls straight up. There's rubber boots on each spark plug so it's sorta rubbery/sticky as you pull it up. Then there's one electrical plug with a funny latch that slides out sideways.
Use some blue loctite when you put the screws back on.
