DIC Failure - follow-up
Posted by angelo [Email] (more from angelo) on Sat, 4 Feb 2006 06:42:52
I wrote a post last week about my DIC going bad. Even though I was past the factory warranty period, it was fully covered. I believe that part has been recalled.
What I wanted to point out is that after I picked it up from the Saab dealer, I immediately noticed a huge loss of power. It was as if I could not get full boost.
Using Dean's advice about the CAT going bad, I brought it back and suggested that. Sure enough, it was the cause. It was also covered under warranty.
If this happens to you, just tell them to check the CAT right away.
