I have the same thing this week, 2.5L v-6 replaced with a 3.0L v-6 from a Cadillac Catera. Runs great but no heat inside the car. Fans and a/c work, I can see the solenoid moving the lever on the passenger side of the heater box when the heat is turned on, so I'm assuming that the airflow is being directed across the heater core. The heater hoses from the engine block to the firewall, however, don't feel warm enough to have hot cooolant in them. Is there something in the block that could be impeding coolant flow to these hoses? Air pocket? The car has been driven maybe 150 miles so hopefully it's "burped" by now? Maybe there is a valve or another thermostat at the block, where the heater hoses connect to the block?
Thanks for any thoughts!
