If you're into DIY projects you can re-grease the existing pulleys. This should extend their life for 20-25k miles until you can move to the aluminum version. Just pull the one of the seals off and apply some good synthetic grease. They're made of soft copper so don't bend them too much out of shape before you pop them back into place. I epoxy the outside edges so that the grease doesn't leak out from the spinning force.
