(2000 9-3) Last fall (october) I replaced the main shaft seal and the oil pump cover o-ring to stop a pretty severe leak. After fighting it for a bit, I was successful in stopping it and it has been dry for 6 months. Today I go out in the garage and there is oil on the floor. Pull the side shield and it is leaking oil pretty good from behind the main pulley. That doesn't seem right. The seals have less than 3000 miles on them and they are leaking again. Does anybody know if the main pulley can get seal wear and have to be replaced? Car has 80,000 on it, so it shouldn't be that worn.
Any thoughts are appreciated.
