Long cranking after Fuel Pump replacement Posted by Goping [Email] (#838) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Goping) on Wed, 12 Apr 2006 09:18:07 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I did notice that after my mechanic had replaced the fuel pump(just the FP not the whole assembly) that the car is taking sometime 3 shots of cranking before starting. This happen only when the engine have reached normal operation temperature. No problem with starting when the engine is cold after siiting far all night or mutliple days.
Anyone had seen this before? Could this be the Fuel pressure regulator?
The fuel filter was replaced around 110 000km.
