This is my second 9-3S (accident with the first) and love it dearly. However I have a couple problems. The major one was noticed about 2 weeks ago and doesnt happen often. However when I really floor my car in 3rd gear and higher and the car boosts into the lower red it'll choke, almost feels like when a governor in a car kicks in. Either i can ease up on the pedal to stop this or shift up. Usually only happens when I drive like an idiot and downshift on the highway. I was told by a friend it might be the solonoid(sp?) in the turbo might be going. I was wondering if anyways had similar issues or could know what is going on.
The other issue is my check engine light has been going on for a day or two and staying off for a week or two for a month or so now. I again was told by the same friend its probably the O2 sensor thats going. Was wondering if thats a big deal and how much it would cost to get fixed. Besides what was mentioned above i really havent had any other problems with the car.
